Are you interested in a sports-related career? Â鶹TV has a unique sport management degree that is an interdisciplinary program with three concentration options. Choose one of the following concentrations based on your personal career goals and interests:

  • Business
  • Kinesiology
  • Ministry

When you major in sport management at Â鶹TV, you will open the door to a wide variety of career options or the ability to further your education with an MBA or other graduate degree.

The Sport Management degree is offered through Â鶹TV's College of Arts and Social Sciences.

Sport management graduates have pursued a variety of careers including:

  • Account Executive with Professional Sports Teams (i.e. Springfield Cardinals)
  • Athletic Director
  • City Park Administrator
  • Coaches in public and private schools
  • Fitness Center Administrator
  • Personal Trainer
  • Strength and Conditioning Coach
  • YMCA Director

Internships

Sport management students have completed internships at a variety of places including:

  • Springfield Parks Department
  • Springfield Tennis Complex
