"There are tons of awesome events at Â鶹TV hosted by various clubs and organizations that are perfect for bonding with your friends or even making new ones! Personally, some of my favorite memories at Â鶹TV were the impromptu gatherings with friends. We'd spend the night playing games, Spikeball, watching movies, or just talking the night away. It was always a blast!"

Student Servant Leadership Opportunities

Become part of student organizations focused on making an impact on campus events and happenings. You’ll learn how to plan, lead, and take initiative on projects. Here are a few to get you started:

  • Student Government Association (SGA)—SGA's mission is to "Inform. Impact. Involve." SGA informs students about what is happening and informs the administration about students' ideas; positively impacts the Â鶹TV experience for both current and future students; and involves students outside of the classroom.
  • University Activities Council (UAC)—Composed of four areas of leadership and service: Campus Activities, Major Events, Integration of Faith and Culture, and Publicity.
  • Intramural Sports (IM)—Students can participate in intramural sports throughout the year by either leading a team or joining an existing one.
  • Welcome Week—Â鶹TV's new-student orientation event is student-led and organized, allowing current Â鶹TV students the opportunity to guide and mentor new students through their transition to Â鶹TV.

SGA, UAC, IM, and WW are student groups that facilitate the planning and execution of key events during the semester. Visit the Student Life Offices in the Student Union to learn more and get involved.
