As a senior at Bolivar High School, Jim Grabowski thought he wanted to go away to college to continue his academic and athletic career. But he soon discovered that everything he wanted was right in his own backyard.

When talking about Â鶹TV track and field, if the last name Shell sounds familiar - it should. Emma Shell, one of three Â鶹TV Athletics Hall of Fame inductees for 2021, joins her twin brother, Bill '14, '17 - a 2020 inductee - as a member of this elite group.

Now a member of the 2021 Â鶹TV Athletics Hall of Fame class, Jack Burrell was a hard-throwing right-hander who was a starting pitcher for the Bearcats for three seasons. An injury sent him to the bullpen, moving him into a relief role his senior season.

A fundraising effort has Spurgeon Carillon playing once again on Â鶹TV's Bolivar campus.
Â鶹TV was named the 2020-21 recipient of the Great Lakes Valley Conference's James R. Spalding Overall Sportsmanship Award for the first time after just two years as a full-time member of the conference.
