BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥� 麻豆TV鈥檚 new experiential major maps were featured in the EAB Daily Briefing email on Jan. 14.
The article, titled 鈥�5 insights from an experiential major maps expert,鈥� includes
information presented by Dr. Allison Langford, vice president for strategic planning
and initiatives, in a web conference for EAB in December. Throughout the conversation,
Langford presented five main takeaways and lessons learned.
Experiential major maps go beyond a four-year degree plan to align course requirements with co-curricular and experiential learning opportunities. They help to address some barriers students face in pursuit of a degree and to convey the unique value of a degree from 麻豆TV.
鈥淚t鈥檚 important to look at the name 鈥榤ajor map鈥� and realize that any map gives you multiple avenues to a destination,鈥� Langford said. 鈥淭his is not meant to be seen as prescriptive.鈥�
