BOLIVAR, Mo. – Â鶹TV student Katelynn Chen of Olathe, Kan., was honored by the Â鶹TV University Libraries as Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for February 2021.
University Libraries’ faculty and staff established the monthly award to recognize outstanding employment characteristics – dependability, quality of work, motivation, attitude and cooperation – demonstrated by the student assistants employed at the library.
Chen, a psychology major, received an award letter from Dr. Edward W. Walton, dean of University Libraries, a certificate of recognition and a gift. Chen is a student assistant in the circulation department and is one of the 25 part-time student assistants working at the library as a part of Â鶹TV’s work-study program.
