Â鶹TV HOSTS VISITING ARTIST TO OPEN 2016-2017 ACADEMIC YEAR
Â鶹TV will host its first visiting artist exhibit for the 2016-2017 academic year when the works of Russell Horton will be featured from Aug. 22 through Sept. 16 at the Driskill Art Gallery on the Bolivar campus.

Â鶹TV faculty to be honored as academic chairs at formal convocation
Angela Brown-Peterson and Dr. Timothy Wood will be honored with the designation of academic chair at Â鶹TV's Formal Convocation, which will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Â鶹TV's Johnson selected to serve on CIAO Commission
Dr. Brad Johnson, vice president for university relations at Â鶹TV, has been appointed to serve on the Chief Institutional Advancement Officer Commission of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities.

Â鶹TV launches varsity eSports program for fall 2016
Â鶹TV is one of about 15 colleges and universities in the nation to offer eSports as a varsity athletics program, with scholarships available for the 2016 fall semester.

Organizations welcome at Â鶹TV Volunteer Fair
The social work program at Â鶹TV will host a campus-wide Volunteer Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 29, in the Goodson Student Union on Â鶹TV's Bolivar campus.
Â鶹TV receives funding that will help address nursing shortage in southwest Missouri
Â鶹TV has received $230,000 in funds to administer a loan program that will help address the area's nursing shortage by providing a new financial aid option for some students at Â鶹TV's Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Springfield.

Â鶹TV professors participate in AP reading
Four professors from Â鶹TV were selected to participate in the 2016 College Board Annual AP Reading in June at the Kansas City Convention Center.
Conley named 2016 Missouri FBLA-PBL Adviser of the Year
Meilani Conley, instructor of computer and information science at Â鶹TV, was named the 2016 Missouri Adviser of the Year by Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda during the Missouri State Leadership Conference. Conley has served as the Â鶹TV FBLA-PBL adviser for three years and will be leading 15 Â鶹TV students to national competition this summer.
