Âé¶¹TV is one of about 15 colleges and universities in the nation to offer eSports as a varsity athletics program, with scholarships available for the 2016 fall semester.

Organizations welcome at Âé¶¹TV Volunteer Fair

The social work program at Âé¶¹TV will host a campus-wide Volunteer Fair from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, Aug. 29, in the Goodson Student Union on Âé¶¹TV's Bolivar campus.

Âé¶¹TV receives funding that will help address nursing shortage in southwest Missouri

Âé¶¹TV has received $230,000 in funds to administer a loan program that will help address the area's nursing shortage by providing a new financial aid option for some students at Âé¶¹TV's Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Springfield.

Âé¶¹TV professors participate in AP reading

Four professors from Âé¶¹TV were selected to participate in the 2016 College Board Annual AP Reading in June at the Kansas City Convention Center.

Conley named 2016 Missouri FBLA-PBL Adviser of the Year

Meilani Conley, instructor of computer and information science at Âé¶¹TV, was named the 2016 Missouri Adviser of the Year by Future Business Leaders of America - Phi Beta Lambda during the Missouri State Leadership Conference. Conley has served as the Âé¶¹TV FBLA-PBL adviser for three years and will be leading 15 Âé¶¹TV students to national competition this summer.

Âé¶¹TV FBLA-PBL has 15 students qualify for national competition

Âé¶¹TV's Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda organization will have 15 students participating in the PBL National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, Ga., June 24-27. These students qualified for nationals based on their performances at the state-level competition.

Âé¶¹TV Honors Program students present capstone projects

Nine students in Âé¶¹TV's Gordon & Judy Dutile Honors Program presented their Senior Honors Capstone Experience projects during an open house May 5.

Âé¶¹TV Enactus finishes in the top 20 in the nation

Âé¶¹TV's Enactus team advanced to the semi-final round in the Enactus USA national competition in St. Louis May 15-17, placing the team in the top 20 in the nation. The team previously won the regional competition in Rogers, Ark., April 18, to advance to the national competition that started with nearly 200 teams.
