Âé¶¹TV University Band joined by Bolivar Middle School 7th, 8th grade band in concert

The Âé¶¹TV Department of Music presents the University Band in concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 17, in Pike Auditorium on the Âé¶¹TV campus. The ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Brian K. Hopwood, will be joined by the Bolivar Middle School 7th and 8th grade band, conducted by Steve McClard and John Trew.

Âé¶¹TV Theatre to debut "Servant of Two Masters" play

The Âé¶¹TV Theatre program concludes its 2015-2016 season with "The Servant of Two Masters," written in the 1700s by Italian playwright Carlo Goldoni and translated and adapted by Jeffery Hatcher and Paolo Emilio Landi. The show will be presented at 7 p.m. April 21-23 in Davis-Newport Theater on the Âé¶¹TV campus.

Condren given Outstanding Service Award

Dr. Tammy Condren, assistant professor of graduate education and doctorate of education in educational leadership coordinator at Âé¶¹TV, received the Outstanding Service Award from the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals (MAESP) at its state conference held March 14 in Osage Beach, Mo.

Âé¶¹TV places first at computer programming competition

Âé¶¹TV's top competitive programming team came out on top at the Consortium for Computing Sciences in Colleges (CCSC) Central Plains Region Programming Contest on Saturday, April 2, at Missouri Western State University.

Âé¶¹TV to host Chamber Orchestra concert

The Âé¶¹TV Department of Music presents a Chamber Orchestra concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12 in the Meyer Recital Hall in the Casebolt Music Center on the Âé¶¹TV campus.

Skinkle named new provost at Âé¶¹TV

Âé¶¹TV has selected Lee Skinkle, Ph.D., as its next provost, effective June 1. As provost, Skinkle will be the university's chief academic officer, providing visionary leadership and direction for all academic areas.

Âé¶¹TV to host faculty and guest artist chamber recital

The Âé¶¹TV Department of Music will present a chamber music recital featuring Âé¶¹TV faculty and guest artists at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 10, in Meyer Recital Hall in the Casebolt Music Center.

C. Pat Run 5K is April 16; community welcome

The Âé¶¹TV Student Association is hosting the fourth annual C. Pat Run 5K at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 23. The race begins and ends on the Âé¶¹TV campus.
