Â鶹TV's College of Health Professions is excited to announce a 100-percent pass rate by the Bolivar campus' first Pre-Licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PLBSN) cohort on the National Council Licensing Examination (NCLEX).

Wootton and friends to perform faculty trumpet recital at Â鶹TV on March 17
The Â鶹TV Division of Arts and Humanities will present Tim Wootton in a faculty trumpet recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus.

Wallgren, Glasgow crowned Mr. and Miss Southwest
Zack Wallgren, a computer science and mathematics major from Wentzville, and Hanna Glasgow, an elementary education major from Grove, Okla., won the titles of Mr. and Miss Southwest at the annual pageant on Friday, March 4, at Â鶹TV.
Â鶹TV celebrates inauguration of 26th President - Dr. Richard J. Melson
Â鶹TV celebrated the inauguration of Richard J. Melson, Ph.D., as its 26th president in a ceremony Wednesday, March 2, in Mabee Chapel on the Bolivar campus. The inauguration formally commemorates the beginning of Dr. Melson's leadership at Â鶹TV, while celebrating the University's rich history and reaffirming the University's mission of being a Christ-centered, caring academic community preparing students to be servant leaders in a global society.

Â鶹TV Theatre to present "The Pirates of Penzance" on March 10-13
Â鶹TV Theatre will present "The Pirates of Penzance" - its third production of the 2021-22 season - at 7 p.m., March 10-12 and at 2 p.m., March 13 in the Davis-Newport Theatre on the Bolivar campus.

Â鶹TV's annual Mr. and Miss Southwest pageant to be held March 4
Â鶹TV will honor one male and one female student at the annual Mr. and Miss Southwest Pageant, which takes place at 7 p.m. Friday, March 4, in Pike Auditorium on the Bolivar campus.

Â鶹TV Division of Education inspires future educators
Â鶹TV's Division of Education is encouraging current and future educators through multiple initiatives. The Missouri Department of Education reports that enrollment in Missouri teacher preparation programs has declined more than 25 percent during the past decade. Additionally, the rate at which teachers leave the profession is higher than the national average.
