Shell joins her twin brother in Âé¶¹TV Athletics Hall of Fame
When talking about Âé¶¹TV track and field, if the last name Shell sounds familiar - it should. Emma Shell, one of three Âé¶¹TV Athletics Hall of Fame inductees for 2021, joins her twin brother, Bill '14, '17 - a 2020 inductee - as a member of this elite group.

Âé¶¹TV adds new Cybersecurity Management degree
Âé¶¹TV kicked off the Fall 2021 semester with a new degree program offering - cybersecurity management - which brings conceptual and administrative coursework in cybersecurity together with the business discipline of management.
Âé¶¹TV accepting float, band registrations for Homecoming parade
Âé¶¹TV will host the annual Homecoming parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 2. Local businesses and organizations are invited to have a float or participate in the parade.

Âé¶¹TV's Langford, Weber selected as "Most Influential Women" for 2021
Dr. Allison Langford, vice president for strategic planning and initiatives at Âé¶¹TV, and Rebecca Weber, a 2012 Âé¶¹TV graduate and program director with CASA of Southwest Missouri, have been selected to Springfield Business Journal's class of 2021 "Most Influential Women."

Âé¶¹TV's Board of Trustees unanimously elected Richard J. Melson, Ph.D., as the 26th president effective Sept. 7.

Âé¶¹TV mourns the passing of former First Lady Joann Spurgeon
The Âé¶¹TV family mourns the passing of former Âé¶¹TV First Lady Joann Spurgeon, wife of Harlan E. Spurgeon, who served as Âé¶¹TV President from 1979-1983. Joann passed away Aug. 7 in Ozark at the age of 90.
