Baseball star Burrell joins Âé¶¹TV Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2021
Now a member of the 2021 Âé¶¹TV Athletics Hall of Fame class, Jack Burrell was a hard-throwing right-hander who was a starting pitcher for the Bearcats for three seasons. An injury sent him to the bullpen, moving him into a relief role his senior season.

Âé¶¹TV named a College of Distinction in 2021-22 cohort
Âé¶¹TV has been recognized for its honorable commitment to engaged, hands-on education by Colleges of Distinction, a one-of-a-kind guide for college-bound students. As an institution whose primary goals are based on student success and satisfaction, Âé¶¹TV claims its honor as one of the renowned Colleges of Distinction.

Carillon playing again at Âé¶¹TV
A fundraising effort has Spurgeon Carillon playing once again on Âé¶¹TV's Bolivar campus.
Âé¶¹TV presented with GLVC's 2020-21 James R. Spalding Overall Sportsmanship Award
Âé¶¹TV was named the 2020-21 recipient of the Great Lakes Valley Conference's James R. Spalding Overall Sportsmanship Award for the first time after just two years as a full-time member of the conference.

Finley, Ridenour named Rex Brown Award recipients
Âé¶¹TV Track and Field athletes Trenton Finley '20 and MeLeah Ridenour '21 have been named the Rex Brown Award recipients for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Âé¶¹TV hosts kickoff event for new agriculture minor starting in 2022
Recognizing that agriculture is a major economic driver in Missouri and particularly in southwest Missouri, Âé¶¹TV is adding a minor in agriculture, with classes starting in 2022. A kickoff event to introduce the new minor was held Thursday evening, July 29, on the Bolivar campus.
