Polk County House of Hope purchases buildings from Âé¶¹TV to expand services

Polk County House of Hope (PCHOH) is planning to expand its services to Polk County and surrounding counties with the purchase of two buildings from Âé¶¹TV. The University's Board of Trustees and the Missouri Baptist Convention recently approved the sale of Ingman Hall and Maupin Hall on the Bolivar Campus to PCHOH.

President Turner encourages making wise decisions

You want to be on campus and have in-person classes. We want you to be on campus and instruct you through in-person classes. In order to do this, we all must make wise decisions. As we head into the weekend, you will have some decisions to make concerning travel or off-campus activities.

Âé¶¹TV celebrates 143rd school year at formal convocation

Two faculty members and a staff member were honored during Âé¶¹TV's annual convocation Wednesday, Aug. 19 - the opening of the 143rd session of the University. This year's event was held in front of a small gathering of students due to occupancy limits because of the COVID-19 global pandemic.

New faculty join Âé¶¹TV for 2020-2021 academic year

Âé¶¹TV is pleased to announce several new faculty members for the 2020-2021 academic year. Âé¶¹TV's faculty is integral in the University's mission to be a Christ-centered, caring academic community preparing students to be servant leaders in a global society.

Âé¶¹TV Trustees affirm relationship with MBC

Âé¶¹TV's Board of Trustees approved a resolution affirming and acknowledging Âé¶¹TV's relationship and common goals with the Missouri Baptist Convention during its July 29 board meeting.

COVID-19 puts CGC projects on hold

As the world began to shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Âé¶¹TV's Center for Global Connections had to keep its mission project teams home as the campus transitioned to remote learning for the remainder of the semester.
