Â鶹TV's Board of Trustees met for its regular fall meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 22. Action items and discussion included approval of the new strategic plan, Peer Assessment Committee report and trustee action.

Area high school bands take home trophies from Â鶹TV Homecoming parade
The Â鶹TV department of music hosted a band competition as part of the annual Homecoming parade on Oct. 19, 2019, through downtown Bolivar and the Â鶹TV campus.

Canfield, Manuel named Â鶹TV Homecoming King and Queen
Aaron Canfield and Laura Manuel were announced as the 2019 Â鶹TV Homecoming King and Queen at halftime of the Bearcats' football game against Quincy University on Oct. 19.

Â鶹TV recognizes alumni with Life Service Awards during Honors Chapel
Five Â鶹TV alumni were honored with special awards in recognition of living lives of service at Honors Chapel on Friday, Oct. 18. The event marks the beginning of Homecoming festivities and also featured the presentation of the 2019 Homecoming court.

Â鶹TV selects Kimbrough as theology professor
Matt Kimbrough, Ph.D., will join the faculty at Â鶹TV in January 2020. He will be an Assistant Professor of Theology in The Courts Redford College of Theology and Ministry.Â
Â鶹TV to present alumni awards during Homecoming Honors Chapel
Homecoming festivities at Â鶹TV will begin with Honors Chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Pike Auditorium, when five alumni will be recognized for living lives of service.

Ruggiero-Mezzadri concert opens Â鶹TV Community Concert Series on Oct. 17
The Â鶹TV Community Concert Series opens its second season with a concert presented by Susan Ruggiero-Mezzadri at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17 in Meyer Recital Hall on the Bolivar campus of Â鶹TV.
