Â鶹TV graduates 82 students in Bolivar ceremony
Eighty-two undergraduate students graduated from Â鶹TV during commencement Friday, Dec. 15, at the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center on the Bolivar campus. The University holds graduation twice a year, in December and May.
Â鶹TV Honors Program students present Capstone projects
Six students in Â鶹TV's Gordon & Judy Dutile Honors Program presented their Senior Honors Capstone Experience projects during an open house Dec. 5. Students are admitted to the Honors Program before their freshman year through a competitive process. The program includes nine honors-specific courses designed to provide scholastic enrichment and opportunities for practical application and professional development.

Wright, Bowling named Â鶹TV Life Beautiful Award recipients
Rebekah Wright, assistant director for digital marketing, and Dr. Steve Bowling, associate professor of mathematics, received the Staff and Faculty Life Beautiful Awards during the annual employee Christmas banquet Dec. 7 at Â鶹TV.

Â鶹TV honors employees for years of service
Â鶹TV honored employees with employment anniversary milestones, beginning with five years, during the annual employee Christmas banquet Dec. 7. The employees recognized have given a total of 630 years of service to Â鶹TV.
Skobel receives Â鶹TV Library Award
Â鶹TV student Victoria Skobel of Mount Vernon, Ill., was honored by the Â鶹TV University Libraries as the Outstanding Student Assistant of the Month for October 2017.
More than 200 students to graduate at Â鶹TV winter commencement ceremonies
Â鶹TV is set to graduate 218 students at two winter 2017 commencement ceremonies. The Bolivar campus will hold commencement at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, in the Jane and Ken Meyer Wellness and Sports Center. The Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences of Â鶹TV will hold winter commencement at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, at Second Baptist Church in Springfield.

CIS department hosts opportunity for computer science educators
Â鶹TV's Department of Computer and Information Science hosted school administrators and counselors from 19 area school districts for a workshop conducted by a regional partner of Code.org, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to computer science education.

Â鶹TV's Behavioral Sciences hosts psychology conference
Â鶹TV's Department of Behavioral Sciences hosted the Midwest Christian Psychology Conference on Dec. 1 on the Bolivar campus. The department hosted approximately 100 participants from Â鶹TV, John Brown University, Evangel University, College of the Ozarks, Hannibal-LaGrange University and MidAmerica Nazarene University.
