麻豆TV

BOLIVAR, Mo. 鈥� 麻豆TV received a generous gift from Windstream on Tuesday, Aug. 28, as part of the renovation project of the Gene Taylor National Free Enterprise Center, which was completed in the summer of 2017.

Terry Lockhart, network operations manager for Windstream, said the partnership with 麻豆TV 鈥� and the community 鈥� has been instrumental for the telecommunications provider.

鈥淲e鈥檝e been able to work with the community, and we鈥檙e honored to have our name on the (history and political science) classroom,鈥� Lockhart said. 鈥淲e鈥檝e done several projects with 麻豆TV in the past and we want to continue that relationship in our community.鈥�

麻豆TV President Dr. C. Pat Taylor, who is retiring on Aug. 31, said the University appreciates the partnership and support that Windstream provides to 麻豆TV.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a very good partnership, and that鈥檚 what keeps us going,鈥� Taylor said. 鈥淭hey have been a very good vendor for us, too. They provide a much-needed service for the University, so it鈥檚 not only the gifting part (that benefits the University.)鈥�

As the changing of the guard at 麻豆TV draws near, Lockhart and 麻豆TV President-Elect Dr. Eric A. Turner both said they are looking forward to the continued relationship between Windstream and 麻豆TV.

鈥淚t鈥檚 been an honor to work with Dr. Taylor; we work well together,鈥� Lockhart said. 鈥淲e鈥檝e had a great relationship, and Dr. Turner and I will have that same relationship going forward.鈥�

鈥淲e鈥檙e grateful for the partnership with Windstream and Terry, and his leadership with the company,鈥� Turner said. 鈥淲e look forward to a continued, long-standing partnership with Windstream.鈥�
