Everett Hornbostel, assistant director of safety and security at Southwest Baptist University, participated in a program to become a SHARP (Sexual Harassment, Assault and Rape Prevention) instructor. Held March 7-9 at Evangel University in Springfield, Mo., the program is designed to teach personal safety and sexual assault prevention.
âÂéśšTV is committed to sexual assault awareness and prevention,â said Mark Grabowski, ÂéśšTV director of safety and security. âOur team will continue to work together and strive to make ÂéśšTV an even safer community.â
Representatives from several area institutions participated, including Missouri State University, Cox College, Evangel University, as well as officers from the Springfield Police Department.
