Your Safety First

Âé¶¹TV’s department of safety and security provides security services for all students, employees and guests. Campus safety features include:

  • Officer on-call 24/7
  • Electronic access control to all residence halls for added security
  • Extensive security camera system
  • Cooperative relationship with local law authorities, including the Bolivar Police Department, Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Bolivar City Fire Department
  • Ongoing security training with Residence Life staff
  • Emergency management planning

Annual Crime and Fire Reports

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, Âé¶¹TV publishes its annual Security and Fire Safety Report by Oct. 1 every year.

Vehicle Registration

All vehicles operated or parked on university property must display a current Âé¶¹TV parking permit and must abide by Âé¶¹TV's Motor Vehicle Regulations.

Âé¶¹TV Alert

All Âé¶¹TV students and employees are automatically enrolled in the Âé¶¹TV Alert program to receive emergency notifications sent to your Âé¶¹TV email address. To add a cell phone number to receive text messages, you will need to click on the Âé¶¹TV Alert link in the Applications tab of the MyÂé¶¹TV portal to manage your alert account.

Emergency Management
