Alumni awards to be presented during Â鶹TV Homecoming
Homecoming festivities at Â鶹TV will begin with Honors Chapel at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, in Pike Auditorium, when three alumni will be recognized for living lives of service. Additionally, Â鶹TV President Dr. C. Pat Taylor will be recognized for his 20 years of service.

Â鶹TV hosts grand opening of nursing training center
The Mercy College of Nursing and Health Sciences of Â鶹TV christened its Nursing Training Center with a grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 1265 E. Lark St., in Springfield.

Brittany Earl receives CGC Nations Award
Brittany Earl was awarded the Center for Global Connection's Nations Award at Â鶹TV's chapel service on Sept. 19.
Â鶹TV theatre season opens Sept. 29
The Â鶹TV Theatre program opens the 2016-2017 season with "Six Characters in Search of an Author," a play by Luigi Pirandello and adapted by Steve Moulds. The show will be presented at 7 p.m. Sept. 29-Oct. 1 in the Davis-Newport Theater on the Bolivar campus.

Â鶹TV alumni and friends will celebrate Homecoming on Friday, Sept. 30 and Saturday, Oct. 1 on the Bolivar campus.
Little sisters, Little brothers selected for Homecoming
Â鶹TV has selected the "little sisters" - and, new this year, "little brothers" - for Homecoming 2016. Each child will escort a king and queen or prince and princess candidate during the Homecoming parade at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1. The "little sisters" and "little brothers" are grandchildren or children of Â鶹TV employees.

Homecoming queen - and king - candidates named
Â鶹TV students have nominated five seniors as candidates for Homecoming Queen - and, new this year, five candidates for Homecoming King. These candidates have been selected by their peers and the winning King and Queen will be announced at the homecoming football game at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.
Â鶹TV offering grad ed classes on Springfield campus
Â鶹TV will begin offering master's level courses in Educational Administration on Oct. 18 on the university's Springfield campus at 1265 E. Lark St.
